How did you get into music?

I could sing before I could talk haha!

Music was always there for me. I grew up singing before I really understood what it meant - it was instinctive, emotional, a way of expressing myself. As I got older, it became clear that music was also my passion. From there it turned into performing & songwriting. I believe I was put on this earth to sing and entertain. :)

 How would you describe your music? 

​

It’s soulful, emotional, and honest. At its core, my music is about connection. I love blending soulful pop with storytelling, and the through-line is always authenticity. If it doesn’t feel true, it ain’t worth singing ;)

 You are about to embark on The Gospel According to George & Whitney. What can people expect from the show? 

​

People can expect a powerful, emotional celebration of two of the greatest voices of all time - it’s about honouring the music, the spirit, and the legacy of these two phenomenal artists. Big vocals, all star live band, moments of joy, moments of reflection, and songs that shaped generations. It’s such a special show and getting to sing with the incredible Emily Williams is a gift every night.

 Are there any plans for the tour to travel outside of Australia? 

​

Absolutely - I love the UK and I definitely want to look at either the end of this year on for sure 2027 across Europe and also Asia! You have set up the ALMAs Awards. Can you tell us about them?

 You have set up the ALMAs Awards. Can you tell us about them? 

​

The ALMAS are something I’m incredibly proud of. They’re designed to celebrate and platform LGBTQIA+ artists and industry professionals across Australia. While they’re not officially launched just yet, the vision is big — it’s about recognition, community, and creating something lasting. More will be revealed very soon :) it’s an Australian first!

 What are your plans for the rest of the year? 

​

The year is stacked with touring, new music, 2 new albums I’m working on with some very exciting collaborations, and continuing to build projects that feel meaningful. I’m focused on creating work that matters. Im also getting married this year so it’s gonna be a big one!!
